Klimaire dual zone ductless system with floor-ceiling indoor units provides energy-efficient 18 SEER cooling and heating.  The new KMIR Series of Multi-Zone Ductless Air Conditioner Heat Pumps feature an outdoor unit with a variable speed compressor and a choice of indoor unit styles. The KUIM 12,000 BTU floor-ceiling indoor units provide separate climate control for two rooms of up to 550 square feet each. Inverter technology matched with the energy-efficiency of reverse cycle heat pump design reduces energy usage by up to 49 percent compared to a standard air conditioning and heating system.

An LED display screen shows error codes for hassle-free operation and preventative maintenance. Smart features enabled by inverter technology include a 24-hour timer and auto-restart, which turns the unit back on to your last setting when power is restored after an outage. When turned to heat mode, the anti-cold blast comfort feature increases airflow gradually to prevent a shocking blast of cold when the unit first starts. Automatic defrost prevents condensation from freezing and damaging the compressor.

Klimaire's new KMIR218-H221 outdoor unit has a high-performance twin rotary compressor for lasting durability and quiet operation. The variable speed compressor keeps operational noise low as the motor speeds up and slows down gradually in synch with the indoor temperature needs.
